CBCT is used in several fields, and there are different methodologies for describing the dose associated with each use. However, the underlying data acquisition, reconstruction and testing parameters for image quality and dose evaluation are similar. This resource defines a generic framework for describing radiation dose among the different CBCT uses. There are 2 fundamental inclusions in the resource: decoupling of irradiation events and dose descriptions, and improved geometric description of the system. Radiotherapy treatment dose and radiopharmaceutical dose are out of scope.Main sections:· Scope and field of application· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.2-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.3-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.4-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.6-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.15-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.16-2020a· Changes to NEMA Standards Publication PS 3.17-2020a Access Supplement 214: Enhanced X-Ray Radiation Dose SR (including Cone-beam CT) By accessing this content, you are leaving this website.
