Clinical Information System Requirements - Clinical Note Document Information Requirements v1.0

The goal of the clinical note document is to provide a consistent method of passing clinical information relevant to an aged care setting from one healthcare organisation to another in a safe and secure method using existing point-to-point transfer mechanisms.

The purpose of this document is to provide information requirements for the clinical note document. The information requirements are derived from the business requirements document and will also support the creation of an implementation guide to be published on this site.

NOTE: As of 6 July, 2026 website references to Clinical Information System Standards are being changed to Clinical Information System Requirements. Future releases of related documents will reflect this change.
